Our products focus on the three core technologies of fluorocarbon polymer, silicone rubber, and optical fiber. They are essential for various fields such as optics, life sciences, industrial equipment, information and communications, and mobility.
Fluorocarbon Polymer : HIFLON™
Has excellent characteristics, including heat resistance, chemical resistance, low friction and dielectric properties.
“HIFLON™” is a trademark of NISSEI’s fluorocarbon polymer related products. Since HIFLON™ has excellent thermal resistance and coldresistance, capable of withstanding temperatures from -200℃ to +250℃, as well as excellent chemical stability, it is used in diverse fields such as industrial equipment, office automation equipment, and transportation equipment. HIFLON™ has excellent electrical characteristics, as it has the lowest dielectric constant among organic materials, so it is also used in the field of communication equipment. Because of HIFLON™’s extremely stable structure, it is also used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Recently, it has also been widely used in the field of life sciences.
Silicone Rubber : LIKAL™
A clean material with excellent stability, that is friendly to the environment.
“LIKAL™”is a trademark of NISSEI’s silicone rubber related products. It is the most stable synthetic rubber, and it can be used in a wide range of temperatures, from -60℃ to +200℃. Because of its excellent compression set and weather resistance, it is used for products including products for mobility equipment, information appliances, and moldings of building materials, which require high reliability for a long period of time. LIKAL™ is also an extremely clean material, so it is actively used in food and life science fields.
Optical Fiber : LICOM™
Pursuing the potential of light by integrating various materials with precision processing.
“LICOM™”is a trademark of NISSEI’s optical fiber related products. We offer a lineup with many different products manufactured from quart glass fiber, compound glass fiber, and plastic fiber. We have applied these products to commercialize optical sensors, light guides for lighting, and other products with excellent thermal and chemical resistance. NISSEI continues to make greater breakthroughs in the fields of optical communications (e.g. data communication fiber and picture transmission fiber), life sciences (e.g. laser light transmission fibers), and high-precision processing (e.g. semiconductor laser light sources).
