| OPTICAL FIBER SENSORS |

*Oplical fiber sensors have many merits such as noise-resistant characteristic,
compactness and light weight compared with other types of sensors, bccause
optical fiber sensors detect solid bodies and liquid by laser.
*A variety of sensors are available for selection according to the characteristics
of what is being detected. Nissei optical fiber sensors are available to
meet a wide range of user requirements, including heat resistance, chemical
resistance, high strength, and flexibility. |

| LIGHT GUIDES |

*Available with plastic, compound glass, and fused silica glass optical
fibers.
*It is recommended to use a proper optical fiber from among plastic fiber,
synthetic fiber and silica fiber depending on the situation. Namely, use
plastic fiber when heat-resistance is regarded as not so important, or
use synthetic fiber or silica fiber when heat-resistance is taken very
seriously (ultraviolet transmittable silica fiber for hardening resin),
or use silica fiber for low transmission loss and wide band.
*Four types of standard guide lights are prepared to satisfy customers'
various demands. Choose a proper type and use it together with our light
source box (KBEX series).
